What is Spray Foam

More Info

Spray foam roofing utilizes Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) to create a waterproof, ultra-insulated roof barrier. This is a great method for improving your roof without replacing it entirely.

Benefits

More Info

A spray foam barrier will render your roof waterproof and increase insulation, allowing it to withstand the elements over time. The closed-cell foam increases the strength of your roof overall while reducing expansion and contraction.

This is a great choice for metal, concrete, wood, and many other roof materials.

Heating and Cooling

More Info

The reflective nature of this barrier will keep your roof safe from heat stress and your energy costs low. That means your building will stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. You will spend less money heating and cooling your building.

Additionally, spray foam barriers are lightweight and will not burden your roof.

Load Capacity

More Info

The spray foam penetrates your roof’s pores to create a seamless barrier. This particular coating can be applied to most roof systems.

At about eight ounces per square foot, the lightweight foam does not exceed the structural load capacity for most roofs.

Warranties

More Info

Spray foam roof systems are backed by a warranty of up to 20 years. As with other roof restorations, this can be expensed as a repair or maintenance cost in most cases. A full roof replacement, on the other hand, cannot.

Steps in the Spray Foam Process

Thoroughly clean the entire roof surface. Power washing loose debris and clearing gravel are necessary to prepare for spray foam application.

Apply SPF (spray polyurethane foam) to the roof. Spray foam must be applied at a minimum thickness of one inch. SPF is applied all over to create a seamless roof.Advanced settings.

Apply the base coat. Apply a tacky base coat on top of SPF.

Apply the final topcoat over the entire roof surface. The white topcoat adheres to the base coat and resists dirt, dust, film, or other debris.
